Give your teen the chance to experience the magic of the potter’s wheel in our exciting Teen Throwing Workshop, designed for ages 13–16. In this 2-hour hands-on session, they’ll learn the basics of wheel-throwing and create two unique pieces to take home after firing. Whether they’re trying out the wheel for the first time or looking to explore a new creative skill, this workshop is a perfect introduction to the art of throwing.
Our experienced tutor, Olivia, will guide them step by step, helping them master techniques like centring, pulling up walls, and shaping their clay. It’s a fun, relaxed, and supportive environment where they can explore their creativity and leave with something they’ve made themselves!
Workshop Details:
Date: Wednesday 16th April 2025
Time: 1PM - 3PM
Location: Clay Workshop, 24 Arrad Street, L7 7BP, Liverpool
What to Expect:
Hands-On Wheel Experience: Learn the essentials of throwing on the wheel with plenty of guidance.
Make 2 Pieces: Create a small bowl and a cylinder-shaped pot.
Glazing and Firing Included: Choose your favourite glaze, and we’ll take care of firing your pieces. Ready for collection 4–6 weeks after the workshop.
Small Group Setting: With a maximum of 4 participants, each teen will receive personalised instruction and plenty of wheel time.
