FAQs

What is your refund policy?

We require a minimum of 7 days notice if you are unable to make any workshop or clubs. You can also email direct to info@clayworkshop.co.uk in case you need to reschedule.

Pottery courses are strictly non refundable. This is due to material costs, as they are ordered for each person when booked onto a course. Please see our refund policy here.

When will I get my pieces?

You can collect your pottery pieces 4-6 weeks after the workshop. This is because the clay pieces need time to dry and go through two firings. See information about collecting your pottery here.

Can I pay for a pottery course in instalments?

Yes! We offer instalment payments through Klarna. Please give us an email at info@clayworkshop.co.uk telling us you’d like to pay in instalments, and we’ll send over a secure Stripe link so you can pay via Klarna.

Can you deliver my pieces once I have made them?

Yes! We can arrange delivery if you can't come and collect them. There is an added price to this. Please get in touch via info@clayworkshop.co.uk if you would like to arrange this.

Is the location wheelchair accessible?

Unfortunately not. There are stairs to get into the studio.

Can I bring children?

Our workshops are designing for people aged 14+. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult for workshops.

We do offer a Kids Clay Club which is designed for children aged 7-12. Additionally we have a Clay Crew Club designed for young adults aged 13-17.

Is there a toilet at the studio?

Yes, we have toilets on site.

Do I need to bring food or water?

We suggest you maybe bring a bottle of water in case you get thirsty. Although, we will have tap water, tea and coffee available. Please do eat beforehand, as there is no food allowed in the studio due to clay dust.

Will I get dirty/messy?

You may get little bits of clay on your clothes. However, we provide aprons which minimises this. Clay also comes out very easily with just water!

Can I do the workshops with long nails?

We recommend coming with shorter nails. Having long nails can sometimes make it tricky to work with the clay.

Where is the studio located?

Unit 3, 1st floor 24 Arrad Street, Liverpool, L7 6BP.

Is there parking available?

Unfortunately, there is not parking on site. However, with being in the city centre, there are loads of car parks nearby!
