Get ready to spin, splatter, and sculpt in this exciting hands-on workshop where kids aged 12 and up will learn how to throw clay on a potter’s wheel! With expert guidance from our ceramics tutor Olivia, they'll be introduced to the basics of wheel throwing – from centering the clay to pulling up walls and shaping their very first pot.

Whether they create a cup, a bowl, or something totally unique, this workshop is all about experimenting, learning new skills, and having fun with clay in motion.

This session is perfect for curious kids or creative teens looking for a new challenge. Parents/carers are welcome to join in by purchasing their own ticket, or simply watch from the sidelines.

Here’s What to Expect:

Create Your Own Pottery: Make unique wheel-thrown pieces such as a cup, a bowl, or something totally unique!

Glazing Options: Select your favourite glaze, and we will apply and fire your pieces for you.

All Equipment Provided: No need to bring anything—clay, tools, aprons, and everything you need will be supplied!

Take Home Your Creations: Collect your fully glazed and fired items 4-6 weeks after the workshop, ready to use and enjoy.

No Experience Needed: This workshop is designed for complete beginners, providing a fun and accessible introduction to wheel-throwing.

Small group sizes mean lots of individual attention and a relaxed, friendly environment. No experience needed – just bring your imagination and be prepared to get a little muddy!
