Make & Paint | Mug Making Workshop

Join us for a fun, hands-on pottery workshop where kids can design, build, and paint their very own mug from scratch! Whether they fancy making a monster mug with wobbly eyes and sharp teeth, a cute animal mug, or a cosy classic for hot chocolate, this session is all about imagination and getting messy with clay.

After building their mug, kids will also get the chance to paint it with colourful underglazes to add an extra personalised touch before it’s fired and glazed.

Here’s What to Expect:

Hand-Building Techniques: Learn how to create your mug from clay with using slab-building techniques.

Paint with Underglazes: Add your own details - faces, patterns, handles, and more!

Relaxed and Fun Atmosphere: Small class sizes mean plenty of guidance and creative freedom.

Take Home Your Masterpiece: Once fired and glazed, your mug will be ready to collect 4–6 weeks after the session.

Please Note: Due to limited space, parents and carers cannot sit in during workshops unless they have booked and paid for their own place.

If you choose to leave your child with us, it is your responsibility to decide whether they are ready to attend without you. Parents/carers remain responsible for ensuring their child is safe and appropriately supervised.

By booking, you are placing your trust in us to supervise your child during the session. However, you must remain within 5 minutes of the studio for the duration of the workshop in case of emergencies.
